Leelanau Peninsula Sparkling Wine

Best of the vintage. Aged fruit and yeast. Pure Leelanau.

A "new" wine and the first in a series of vintage dated sparkling wines. Made from 100% Pinot Noir from the 2012 harvest. This wine was aged for 5 and a half years on the lees and finished with a dosage of 0.8% residual sugar. Ca 2012 received a Bronze medal at the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships in London this year. This series of wines is meant to capture the "best of the vintage" varietals and blends will vary.
